Data Collector · Team Lead · Driver — $24–$29 per hour

The Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count Demographic Survey is a partnership between the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work and the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA). We are building a diverse team to survey adults and families experiencing homelessness throughout Los Angeles County. This work helps our community better understand homelessness and plan effective services and resources.

Driver$27 per hour using a USC vehicle or $29 per hour using a personal vehicle, plus mileage reimbursement

Qualified English/Spanish bilingual survey staff receive an additional $3 per hour.

  • Data Collector

    $24 per hour

    Conducts field-based interviews with people experiencing homelessness across Los Angeles County.

    Conducts field-based interviews with people experiencing homelessness while following study, safety, confidentiality, and trauma-informed practices. This position is in the field approximately 90% of the time and requires extended periods of walking and standing.

  • Team Lead

    $26 per hour

    Performs Data Collector duties while coordinating the team in the field.

  • Driver

    $27 per hour (USC vehicle) · $29 per hour (personal vehicle)

    Transports team members to assigned locations throughout Los Angeles County.
